About me
Hello! I am Dominique, and I’m a doula with life experience supporting family and friends through difficult pregnancies, postpartum life, and loss. La Doula Rasa means being a source of strength to the essence of a person; when they come to breathe their first breath and their last.
As a lifespan doula, my goal is to foster a safe, authentic space to express joy, fear, overwhelm, resentment, grief, and everything in between, providing emotional and hands-on support to birthing people and families as they prepare for and experience their pregnancy, postpartum journeys, or the passing of a loved one.
My approach is non-judgmental, curious and resourceful, adapting to the needs of my clients to ensure they feel respected, informed and empowered to make decisions that are best for them and their family, in their own time.
With my support, I hope my clients feel free(r) of worry, free to joke and laugh and cry and process and be present in these big life events!
In my leisure, I enjoy travel, concerts, improv and theater productions, painting, watching movies, and good meals with family and friends.
